Esta loved the latest season of ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING, while Aaron thought it was mid. Here’s our season breakdown.
E1 ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST 🤩
“ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING does not disappoint. The final few moments were silent gifts reminding everyone of “ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST.” All I can add is “Pack your bags, bitches.” It’s going to be spectacular.“

E2 GATES OF HEAVEN 🤩
“ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING is just heating up. You would think that this show would grow tired after three seasons by reusing the same plot mechanism. Yet, with Martin, Short, and Gomez, the show continues to be appointment viewing TV.“
– Aaron
E4 THE STUNT MAN 😊
“ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING was a little bit disappointing this week. Don’t get me wrong, it had humorous moments (“down brightness, Suzie down”), but overall, it was an information filler.“
– Esta
E5 ADAPTATION 🤩
“ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING sent me over the moon. All I can think to say out loud is that I have been “Jonked.” I mean, who showcases such a stunning specimen of manliness and then moves on to the next scene so quickly? I know I couldn’t. Jack Jonk, played by Stephen Burgi, my former student who sang, danced, and acted across my stage, will be remembered forever. “Jonking” will just have to be a part of everyday living from now on. Jonkers unite and give this fine male a line.“

E6 BLOW-UP 😊
“Let’s “spill the tea” and “Blow-Up” E6 of ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING. Even with the number of gimmicky hidden cameras, the creators cannot hide that they have been stalling this season. A lot of “chaos” happens this week, but outside of the climax, not much of it is monumental enough to progress the story.“
– Aaron
E8 LIFEBOAT 😊
“ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING offered an abundant amount of information that resulted in a buttload of ‘clinching’ moments. Most of the entire ensemble gathered in anticipation for ‘ding-dong time.’ Oh, Hell, it was not easy, and there wasn’t a ‘happy ending.”
– Esta
E9 ESCAPE FROM PLANET KLONGO 😊
“I loved three things about this episode:
- Ron-Ron – This week’s new celebrity cameo works. It’s funny and ties the story together (although with a slew of potholes).
- The cliffhanger – Now that’s how you end an episode. The creators have once again hooked me for one more.
- Friendship – Steve Martin and Martin Short’s celebration of friendship is near perfection. Two short scenes are some of the most heartfelt we’ve seen them capture on camera together.
– Aaron
E10 MY BEST FRIEND’S WEDDING 🤩
“ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING delivered a solid, satisfying finale along with a bloody cliffhanger for next season. I will go out on a ledge and say it was entertaining and tense, all while keeping the laughs coming. Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez have their bantering and timing down to perfection.“
