Well, I was wrong that E8 would be a flashback. However, it was a bit different and set up character development for our leads. With E9, we are back to our regularly scheduled program, with Ian and Poppy facing huge decisions within the MQ universe.
Season four of MQ has been a bit all over the map. It has worked best when it focuses on the growth of Ian and Poppy while the additional characters grow, adapt, and support their story arc. I’m happy to “call in” and report that TELEPHONE does a fantastic job of setting up MQ for success in next week’s season finale.
If you are not watching MYTHIC QUEST, you should be. ELYSIUM is not just the title of the game expansion pack. It’s also what the characters aim to achieve in season four, and I’m hopeful they will get there.
