Like MARTHA, there is no dilly-dallying in pacing. It is all about the “doing” and continuing to move forward. It is fascinating when the interviewer brings up a topic that MARTHA does not want to discuss and how she manipulates the conversation in another direction with a hand. It was well-edited and contained the good and the flawed aspects of her “perfectly perfect” life.
MARTHA created a unique picture of not a “superwoman” but an “everyday woman.” I thoroughly enjoyed watching one of our greatest influencers of all time.
