LOOT was a testament to the rockiness of being in love. The episode highlighted unrequited feelings as well as how to end a relationship. It certainly shared an exploding moment of loving someone to the moon and back.
Molly (Maya Rudolph) has grown up emotionally. She now knows what she wants, and watching her angst and antics is hilarious and insightful. The entire ensemble is coming into their own as well. The side plots now are as important as Molly’s journey.
LOOT can buy a person things, but the tone has changed, and it is now pursuing what it cannot purchase. It is an interesting, satirical, and entertaining premise as the series hits its finale next week. It is streaming on Apple TV+.
