LESSONS IN CHEMISTRY S1E6 POIROT 🤩

LESSONS IN CHEMISTRY gave viewers the necessary background on Elizabeth’s (Brie Larson) family. It was an important piece of the puzzle to totally understand her beliefs on marriage, religion, children, love, and of course…science.

“Cold cases are idioms” according to Agatha Christie, but this week they are guiding Madeline (Alice Halsey) in the right direction. Both mother and daughter are lost in their quests. Life can be tough especially when trying to “think about the person you want to be.” Pistachios help, but “living a lie will eat you up inside.”

The path that Elizabeth travels is fraught with moments of spectacular decisions about women’s rights. But even more important is learning to stand in the street with the amazing, powerful Harriet (Aha Naomi King). Her facial expression and the depth of her soul-searching eyes tore my heart in half. Brilliant acting. Well written. Kudos to all.

LESSONS IN CHEMISTRY is about balance and compromise for the well-being of everyone. It hit its mark in making a necessary point. Worth your time, thoughts, and Elizabeth…action.

LESSONS IN CHEMISTRY is available to stream on Apple TV+.
