JULIA was finally back in the television studio, but it seems “change” was the name of the game for the entire ensemble. Uh, oh. JULIA (Sarah Lancashire) hates change.
The writers set viewers up for future episodes. A new director and an old boyfriend revisited forgiveness, the pill, and threats from Jimmy Hoffa, which created intrigue. It does not matter if Paul (David Hyde Pierce) is trying to soothe JULIA’s nerves with his piano playing; Life is becoming complicated. This was evident in everyone’s facial expressions and body language. The eyes can’t hide the future. I loved it because I will be tuning in for more.
JULIA created “Sunday nights as JULIA nights” for her TV audiences. While she is “making a show,” we should all be “afraid of Virginia Woolf” knocking on the front door.
