JULIA S2 REVIEW 😊

JULIA’s new season shares great moments during The French Chef’s career. It is a wonderfully entertaining show rich with delicious food, warmth, and kindness. Here’s my take on season two:

E1-E3 🙂

“JULIA opened its second season with three episodes in Paris. There was magnificent, enticing food and beautiful scenery. But I was antsy for JULIA to return to the States to cook on her television show.

E4 CHOCOLATE MOUSSE 😊

“JULIA created “Sunday nights as JULIA nights” for her TV audiences. While she is “making a show,” we should all be “afraid of Virginia Woolf” knocking on the front door.

E5 BUCHE DE NOEL 🤩

“E5 was intense due to David Hyde Pierce. He took on a dual role as not only Paul, JULIA’s husband but as his “older” twin brother. Their personalities were complete opposites, allowing David to create a crazy character. There were poignant, bittersweet, joyful moments of them together on screen. The audience was treated to an inside view of David’s acting chops.

E6 CHARTWINKERIE 🤩

“JULIA is at a crossroads. To stay or not to stay…that is the question. She led a heartfelt episode that will warm you with maraschino cherries and a Twinkie.

E7 SHRIMP AND GRITS 🤩

“JULIA’s finale is next week. I will be sad to say goodbye to such a well-done show. It is fascinating and entertaining to see how our past unfolds. “Let the games begin.”

E8 LOBSTER AMERICAINE 😊

“JULIA’s finale for the season added a dash of mystery and intrigue. It was a moment for all “agitators” to unite. The writers tied up loose ends and gave fans much to look forward to next season.
