Sometimes, you just want to relax and be entertained, and that is exactly what GHOSTS does. Airing on CBS and streaming on Paramount Plus, the second season of this half-hour comedy, based on the successful British series, has a great ensemble cast that has really gotten comfortable with their characters, and the show is just plain fun.
Rose McIver and Utkarsh Ambudkar play Samantha and Jay, the young couple running a bed and breakfast in a ‘quaint’ old mansion in upstate New York that is inhabited by a troupe of ghosts who all died unfortunately in various ways over the last millennium. The catch is that only Sam can see and hear the ghosts. I am going to name the ghost cast because they are having such a good time, and its infectious: Rebecca Wisocky, Brandon Scott Jones, Richie Moriarty, Asher Grodman, Sheila Carrasco, Román Zaragoza, Devan Chandler Long, and Danielle Pinnock.
GHOSTS on CBS and Paramount Plus is old-fashioned fun and should be experienced now.
