The season three finale of FOR ALL MANKIND goes out with a bang. It’s an eighty-five-minute movie that showcases what it does best – space action/drama. And I loved every minute of it.

Season three has been an extremely bumpy ride. From the political soap opera to an astronaut that gets addicted to pills, the melodramatic moments don’t always reach optimal orbit. Yet, when it does work, like in E10, it’s some of the best content currently on TV.

My favorite moments in the finale all involve science and action. When NASA scientists have to work together to solve astronomically complex problems with logic, it makes my heart swoon. Luckily, E10 mainly was that – complex challenges for brilliant minds to solve. And the creators raised the stakes by taking a surprising turn that had real consequences for the lead characters. As a result, the finale has a slew of big moments with impact on all the characters that should change the flight path for next season.

By this point, readers know I need to speak to a therapist about my love/hate relationship with FOR ALL MANKIND. However, after this fantastic redeeming episode, I prefer to keep my relationship status with this show as “it’s complicated” going into season four.

It’s available on Apple TV+.
