DROP ๐Ÿ˜Šย

DROP was one of the most absurd thrillers I have seen in some time. It almost made me laugh out loud with all the suspension of disbelief I had to put up with. The film was exciting and quite entertaining to the very end. The plot never let up the anxiety level and the amount of stress that one dinner could create.ย

Keeping audiences suspended in sweaty stress was due to Meghann Fahy, who portrayed Violet. She was stunning in her characterization of innocence and naivety. Her performance continually begged the question of what anyone would do under those circumstances. This was what heldย DROP together every fretful second. Thank goodness the cameras were there to capture it all because no one would believe the premise or outcome.ย

DROP was pure escapism. It will get hearts pumping while second-guessing every person seated in that gorgeous restaurant. I would even consider making reservations, but only for the spectacular view. It definitely wouldnโ€™t be for the ridiculous waiter.ย

DROP is streaming on Peacock.ย
