DOCTOR WHO gave viewers a huge, mysterious, conundrum. It was sort of like BLACK MIRROR meets a fairy circle on the Welsh coast. The writing was intriguing, but alas, it kept me 73 YARDS away at all times.
This episode featured Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson). Actually, the Doctor hardly made an appearance and for once did not save the day. Millie can indeed hold her own. She had me in the palm of her hand totally mesmerized. She has a very vulnerable look about her, yet she can project the strength of a Titan as well. The Welsh folklore was fascinating material for sci-fi storytelling.
If DOCTOR WHO continues along with these types of adventures, then this reviewer can hardly wait to see what happens next. (Besides, I am loving the fresh, new wardrobe attire.)
