DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN S1E7 ART FOR ART’S SAKE 🤩

Even though we don’t get a lot of Daredevil versus Kingpin time in E7, there’s enough quality character development, action, and suspense to keep audiences on the edge of their seat. The opening shot of ART FOR ART’S SAKE has Wilson Fisk saying, “When you look out at this city, what do you see? Fear.” And “fear” becomes the theme of episode seven. The fear of not hiding from past mistakes hits all three leads (Daredevil, Kingpin, and Muse) in meaningfully different ways.

As DAREDEVIL continues, it’s clear that showrunners are living up to the hype. They are “thinking asymmetrically,” showcasing how complexly similar Daredevil and Kingpin are. That story is so good this week as we watch them build up their feud for a hopeful head-on collision next week.

The show is available on Disney+.
