Last week, audiences saw a near-perfect courtroom drama mixed with the bittersweet White Tiger story. In E4, we see Kingpin’s ambitions cut through the red tape of politics as he tries to “build his city on rock and roll.” While Matt Murdock starts to “punish” himself for embracing his darker tendencies.
With all the intensity of each character’s dark side coming out, you would expect this to be a killer edition. Instead, it’s more of a slow burn that sets the story up for something we will eventually “muse” over.
We are about halfway through the first season of DAREDEVIL, and although Red is hardly in it – this is still compelling MCU TV. I’m good with the show being a slow burn, yet outside of a great cameo and a fantastic bookend, E4 was the weakest entry so far.
DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN is available on Disney+.
