COBRA KAI S6P3 REVIEW 😊

Thanks to COBRA KAI knowing its identity, the final half of the last season continues to deliver likable characters and, just like I predicted, a lot more soap opera fun. The cliffhanger from the big Sekai Taikai in S6P2 has left all of the characters in a transitional state as they try to figure out what karate represents for them. The story arcs for all the kids, Larusso and Johnny, should satisfy viewers. Sadly, the conclusion for Terry and Kreese will leave audiences feeling “abandoned at sea.”

Puns aside, everything works flawlessly in these final episodes except for what the creators do to Terry and Kreese. I saw what happened, rewound it, and then scratched my head, not understanding why, after 65 episodes, this is how they decided to end it. That conclusion and the aftermath is why I’ve dropped my score for these five episodes from a 🤩 to 😊. My fellow contributor, Eli, would categorize it as “The Ugly Stuff.”

What started as a YouTube series has become one that will add to the lore of the original KARATE KID, and had a blast doing it. It may not be championship-quality material (aka award-worthy), but it’s binge-worthy content proving that “Cobra Kai never dies.”

The entire series is available on Netflix.
