This movie has served as the blueprint for many of the modern-day queer romances, and for that reason, was high on my watchlist.
Ten minutes after I closed the Netflix tab, I am still sitting here, teary-eyed, thinking about how emotionally raw, impactful, and beautiful this film was. The acting, the story, the cinematography – all incredible. Truly one of the best films I have ever seen and definitely the best queer film I’ve seen.Â
