The final episode of BAD SISTERS was spectacular. There were surprises, twists, turns, and moments of staring at my screen in disbelief. I didn’t want it to end.
“Boxing a man’s life” is no easy task. But, it gives us pause to remember what we do and say on this earth is important and follows us wherever we end up. If you act like a “f**king monster” and are abusive to all those around you, then not even a red scarf will save you from death.
Grace (Anne-Marie Duff) and Eva (Sharon Horgan) were super, strong women characters. They shared every aspect of womanhood, being vulnerable and coming into their power. Watching their light and dark seconds was a joy when some would say, “they did not exist.” But Grace, Eva, and all the other sisters were more than mere shadows for sure.
BAD SISTERS shook up my way of looking at a story. It kept me on my toes and made me laugh out loud from incredulous events. Everything was wrapped up, solved, and put away. I could not imagine a second season, but I would love to be a part of the BAD SISTERS’ lives any time again.
BAD SISTERS is available to stream on APPLE TV+.
