AND JUST LIKE THAT S3E11 FORGET ABOUT THE BOY ๐Ÿ˜Š

And with that, all things (good AND bad) come to an end. I started watching SEX AND THE CITY during the summer of 2024, at the ripe age of 16. I fell in love with the characters, setting and storylines. I even loved the movies! I cannot say I have that same love for the reboot. Three long seasons later, this chapter closes for Carrie Bradshaw.

You can tell that they had to find some way for these nonsensical storylines to reach a climax before they can happily resolve them. We have two more episodes than we normally would this season, which I could say is a travesty, but since itโ€™s the last weโ€™ll see SJP shine in this world – I’ll allow it. FORGET ABOUT THE BOY feels like a final chapter; the mood has taken a turn for its exit. The season could have been massively improved if we had this same tone from the start, as a farewell tour, giving the characters a graceful leave instead of these foolish dilemmas they were placed in. Alas, weโ€™ve had a fantastic run since 1998. I will forever love all the shoes, cosmos, articles, and Big talks we had.

AND JUST LIKE THAT… is streaming on HBO Max.
