AND JUST LIKE THAT…was all about major beginnings and endings that all of us have to deal with throughout our lives. It was poignant, humorous, and bittersweet. It was definitely a step up from the last few weeks of writing.
Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) and her cohorts really know how to dress fashionably, even during a BOMB CYCLONE in a blizzard in NYC. Nothing will ever stop the ladies from looking good, even if they are on a “condom scavenger hunt” or the keynote speaker at “Widow Con.” Moving on is oh, so difficult, especially if it is a “two break-up day.”
I could relate to the “sex-positive” moments. Relationship change, reverse directions, grow, and die all within a blink of an eye. The camera angles helped reinforce that most of life’s ups and downs are universal. Moving on is inevitable. We either get on board or get left behind. This is the moment the writers encouraged the ensemble to make good choices. The series is headed in a better direction whether audiences use a “widow wand vibrator” or there is a “night in shining Tahoe.”
AND JUST LIKE THAT…hopefully, is on a better trajectory. The past is making its way forward. It is available to stream on MAX
