ALEX EDELMAN: JUST FOR US is a funny comedian who mixes his ethnic material and modern times next to each other. He is a high-energy performer who is not afraid “to go there” especially in Queens while sitting at a meeting most of us would never attend. There is no doubt, he is bold.
Alex swears by dumb, silly jokes. He believes they work best for his audience. I would agree. He kept me laughing and chuckling throughout his entire ninety-minute special. He has a unique way of getting to the heart of any story. He gets off track, or so it seems, and then zap…pulls it all together for the “bada bum” moment. He has fabulous timing, but the best part is his insightfulness, empathetic tone, and authenticity. He uses his Jewish background and heritage to give any audience those “gotch ya” smiles and smirks. He is a true storyteller.
ALEX EDELMAN: JUST FOR US was an enjoyable and entertaining concert. I loved his final “piece of the puzzle,” and I have already used his perfect reaction line to any question in life. (No spoilers from me!) I am now off to create a “Twitter list” just for Alex. Check out his special on Max.
