Despite being the shortest episode of AGATHA ALL ALONG, E5 just happened also to be the best one yet. The “blood moon” was fully displayed as DARKEST HOUR / WAKE THEY POWER, played on classic witch stereotypes (brooms, magic, and so much more) but added a twist that will change the course of this show going forward.
As I’m watching HEARTSTOPPER at the same time as AGATHA, I must mention again that it’s so satisfying to “crown” Joe Locke as this show’s supporting cast member MVP. And yes, that’s absurd to say with Tony legend Patti LuPone in the cast. Yet, he’s just that good.
E5 was the fork in “The Road” this series needed after a good, not great, rock edition last week. With only four episodes left, it’s not too late to “follow the rules” and watch what’s shaping up to be this year’s perfect Marvel Halloween treat.
