A big decision was at the heart of this week’s episode of ABBOTT ELEMENTARY. It will affect the ensemble in ways we cannot imagine yet. It would be sad if the series got off track, but I imagine growing pains are involved.
The writers also gave viewers a treat with the story of Alex. He was adorable and represents many of the fears our children are feeling about school. Teachers along with other people in our lives “come and go.” We are all never too young to learn that lesson.
ABBOTT ELEMENTARY also pointed out the special connections we sometimes will miss if we are not paying enough attention. A good team is hard to come by, but only when those involved can recognize what is at stake. It was compelling storytelling by talented actors and available on ABC.
