A MAN IN FULL S1 SERIES REVIEW 🤮

A MAN IN FULL showcased top-tier actors, producers, and directors yet still fell short of its own star power. The premise was good; it just lacked the necessary pacing and higher levels of written words. It had moments that surprised and entertained me, especially the nude reveal, but alas, it regretfully was not enough.

I sometimes wish SFR had another emoji for series between the good and the bad. A MAN IN FULL fell right there. The opening name credit was super creative, with each episode taking the stick man down. Seeing the irony of how far someone could fall made me chuckle. Jeff Daniels, Diane Lane, Tom Pelphrey, Ami Ameen, Lucy Liu, and Bill Camp were brilliant and compelling. Regina King and Thomas Schlamme were the directors of this David E. Kelley creation. Big, powerful names, indeed.

In A MAN IN FULL, Daniels, as Charlie continually referenced, “letting out the big red dog.”  He wanted to “shake his balls.” I can only say it wasn’t enough “saddlebags.”

It is streaming on Netflix.
