And we’re back goyles and boys! After a semi-mediocre mid-season slump, WWDITS has another excellent episode. The gang needs to hunt down GirlyJim – wait, no, Glugabub – no, Goéjlrm aka The Sire, who is the ancestor of all vampires.
We see pretty much the full cast of characters in this episode, from “guide lady” to Nadja’s ghost doll to the newly introduced hellhound. It reminds me of what this show does best – dipping into the fantasy and worldbuilding while giving us a hilarious ensemble of otherworldly creatures.
This episode really does have it all – “Gizmo” shines as usual, but the vampires’ human sides really come through, thanks to the premise of the episode.
Without spoiling anything, the last minute of the episode has to be my favorite – will be careful about any New Jersey Airbnbs from now on.
