Thank God…or satan that our favorite vampires from Statin Island are back. At this point, everything that Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement touch becomes dark comedy gold. Last week, I died laughing at Nandor trying to woo a woman at the gym and failing historically. And this week, Nandor gets mixed up with a love relationship that spans 40+ years.

Although that love interest story is the A-plot, the funny comes from the partnering of Lazlo and Colin, the energy vampire. Their bits as they try to fix an old car are pure physical comedy gold. I 😂 more times than I’m proud to admit watching Colin get hit by the vehicle and catching on fire.

If that wasn’t enough, we also get a legendary spoof of TWILIGHT with werewolves versus vampires. However, those two groups don’t fight this time. Instead, they play a game of kickball that would make anyone that used to be Team Edward or Team Jacob proud.

Do yourself a favor, say the word “bat” out loud, and transform into a fan of one of the funniest shows on TV. It does not suck.
