UNITED STATES OF AL showed the silly, romantic side to Al (Adhir Kalyan). It was angst-driven, yet a fun romp of an episode.
My favorite part was watching the kissing lessons and explanations of abstinence. It was an intimate look at the friendship between Al and Riley (Parker Young). I smiled at remembering those early dating years, handling raging hormones, and finding the path that worked for me. Good choices are hard to make with all the “March Madness” swirling around.
The UNITED STATES OF AL was an entertaining, humorous moment. It was nice to see Al struggle and still get what he wants and needs.
