UNDER THE VINES SEASON 1 REVIEW 😊

UNDER THE VINES is a little-known series that I discovered one evening searching for something different to watch. To my surprise, I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline and characters. The best reward was the New Zealand vineyard setting…stunning and run-down all at the same time.

Daisy (Rebecca Gibney) and Louis (Charles Richards) find themselves the “sole” heir to a family house and land. They both are city dwellers and know absolutely nothing about the business of grapes. Chaos ensues, but this also leads to all sorts of decisions about who they are and where they are headed. It is a positive reinforcement that it is never too late to change your paradigm. Life can be compared to a kaleidoscope. Click it, and everything changes. How very exciting for all of us.

Some may say that UNDER THE VINES is predictable, but that is what makes it a charming rom/com/drama. It is uplifting and fun to watch the progress, scenery, scandals, gossip, and oodles of wine being poured every day and evening. After all, we all know it is 5 o’clock somewhere in the world. Cheers!

Season 2 should be coming out sometime this year. Everything ended with a cliffhanger. I will be tuning in for sure. UNDER THE VINES is available to stream on ACORN.
