THE WRONG PARIS is a Honey Pot romantic comedy that also features some depth about our changing times and reinforces a woman’s prerogative to choose what she wants to do with her life. It was refreshing and clever, making a golden brick or spur even more meaningful. It’s nice to know we can finally have it all.
Miranda Cosgrove and Pierson Fode had a mammoth amount of chemistry together. It was beyond obvious when they continually looked into each other’s eyes. I thought I saw a steady stream of steam coming out of every portal of their bodies. Kudos to Fode’s physique. This man is ripped in all the right places.
I also enjoyed the sarcastic look at reality dating shows. It was spot-on, even with all the many stereotypical characters vying for the “love vortex.” It was good that the story progressed quickly. It kept my interest, and I was pleasantly surprised.
THE WRONG PARIS would be a great addition to the long list of Hallmark’s amorous, flirtatious tales. It might be just what viewers need as summer slowly draws to a close.
It is streaming on Netflix.
