Quinn (Chase Sui Wonders) and Sal (Ike Barinholtz) go to war in this week’s edition of THE STUDIO. The results? The “burrito” shenanigans are funny and add a layer of sadness to Sal’s studio executive persona.
Meanwhile, audiences must try not to “Smile” at all the “winks” to Hollywood. This past week’s show intensity increased to that of a Safdie Brothers movie (UNCUT GEMS and GOOD TIMES). While that heart-breaking speed is exhausting and fun to watch, it didn’t quite land with the same narrative depth that the previous installments did.
