THE STUDIO led audiences through a wild and crazy behind-the-scenes look at the ridiculous reality of the power of THE NOTE. I could so relate. I laughed and cringed through every twist and turn. It was perfectly written and executed. Revenge, self-doubt, and lack of a spine rule this artistic world.
As the head of THE STUDIO, Seth Rogen can grate on anyone’s nerves, but if viewers look closer, they will be privy to several emotional layers that I, for one, never saw coming. The writers know this character well, and book-ended with the dynamic duo, the hysterical Catherine O’Hara and Kathryn Hahn, audiences won’t be able to stop gleefully watching each catastrophic moment.
I must add audiences are in for a guest-starring treat! I felt like whistling down to the old fishing hole. More please! Everything about THE NOTE was hysterical right down to the final frame.
THE STUDIO is a hoot of a series if viewers realize they are dealing with the loud, gravel-voiced, creative genius of Seth Rogen. Anything can happen except for smooth sailing.
