THE PITT S2E10 4:00 PM 🤩

You don’t need a drop of water to dive headfirst down the “slide” of chaos of THE PITT’s four o’clock hour. This episode is relentless, throwing us right into the thick of what it means to survive in a Level One Trauma Center. I’ll admit, I was hoping for more fireworks after last week’s cliffhanger, but what I got instead was even better: a raw look at imperfect people doing their best to be heroes, even when the stakes are life or death. That exploration is especially nice, as we see Dr. Mohan (Supriya Ganesh) show her imperfections.

But the real spark this hour? Roxie. Katherine LaNasa nails it, bringing a character we’ve all seen before and making her feel fresh. THE PITT could have gone for the easy stereotype, but instead, it gives Roxie real dignity.

If I have one gripe with E10, it’s the never-ending feud between Dr. Langdon and Trinity Santos. Honestly, it’s starting to wear thin. With so much heart in this episode, their drama feels like extra noise (Of course, watch me eat my words if it all pays off later).

My favorite quotes this week:

Final Thought:  This emotional, jam-packed episode once again proves that THE PITT has “legs.”

It’s available on HBO Max.
