THE PITT S1E4 HOUR FOUR 10 A.M. 🤩

THE PITT offered a somber and thought-provoking episode during its fourth hour of a fifteen-hour shift. It was written by Noah Wyle, who also portrays the lead actor, Dr. Michael Robinavitch. It’s all hands on deck at the Pittsburgh Trauma Center, where waiting to see a doctor or get a bed could take seven to ten hours.

There were several memorable scenes, especially when watching a loved one die. The simplicity of the moments, the decisions that must be made, and what is important to say out loud during those final seconds will be heartbreaking. Yet, all of these seconds, so real and raw, grant viewers a gift of what to do when these situations arise in their everyday lives. This is the beauty of this series. They dare to take all of us on this dark trip and focus light on what emergency responders must face every day. It boggles the brain as to why they keep coming back.

The PITT does manage to sneak some lighter situations in between the grit. Thank heavens for such a divine, powerfully talented ensemble to sprinkle some much-needed levity. The PITT is fine, top-tier TV viewing. Don’t miss it.

THE PITT is streaming on MAX.
