THE PITT S1E1-E3 🤩

THE PITT is a ā€œlove letter to first responders.ā€ The series showcases what it is like to work as an emergency/trauma doctor. There are no frills. Every moment of the episodes was filmed in real-time and chronologically. It represents what the patients and doctors must endure daily at the Pittsburgh Trauma Center. The first three hours were intense, sad, compelling, raw, and inspiring. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time.Ā

Dr. Michael Robinavitch (Noah Wyle from the famous ER series) leads his team of highly skilled actors as doctors. His mannerisms are blunt and honest. His realistic facial expressions are filled with empathy, yet he does not shy away from the truth of the situation. It tears at heartstrings and makes audiences hopeful for the same treatment in real life. The pacing is fast, pushing viewers from one patient to the next. It never ends. The entire ensemble is there… in the pocket, every second. Kudos to all.Ā

THE PITT is my new favorite show, even though the stories are harsh to witness. It almost feels like live theatre unfolding on my screen. I am hooked as I stand next to all the doctorsā€¦ā€Let’s go save some lives.ā€Ā

THE PITT is streaming on Max.Ā
