THE MORNING SHOW ended its season with very satisfying results from every side of the story spectrum. Just remember I never said it was “happily ever after” for every cast member.
Alex (Jennifer Aniston) and Bradley (Reese Witherspoon) proved once again, that women are strong and powerful all while doing the right thing. Now Cory (Billy Crudup) and Paul (Jon Hamm) leave me quite speechless. There were intense surprises in the boardroom and studio. Double and triple crossings held my attention and made me shout with delight. Who knew dropping on air “f-bombs and a mere mention of “Hannover” would have such an effect on the entire ensemble? Business is not personal unless it makes you “the biggest architect of a failed deal.” Should viewers start humming along with the ironic tune of EVERYTHING IS GONNA BE ALRIGHT? Awesome “elevator” musical de moments.
THE MORNING SHOW was tight, fast-paced, and well thought out. The writers wanted to make sure that “owning what you did has consequences.” It would be so cool if our society could do the same. Sigh…
