THE AFTERPARTY pivots away from the best episode of the series to a so-so horror spoof courtesy of Chelsea (Ilana Glazer). It’s not that there’s anything wrong this week. It was simply a letdown from the showstopping musical numbers by Yasper (Ben Schwartz) last week.
Audiences are now halfway through the first season of THE AFTERPARTY, and it’s clear that every character has a unique take on the murder that’s trying to be solved. At this point, I can’t even try to predict who committed the crime, but I’m still enjoying the ride. Or, as Chelsea alludes to, this whodunnit is even more unruly than “Jewish hair.”
