THE ACOLYTE S1E4 DAY 🤮

(L-R, front row): Yord Fandar (Charlie Barnett), Jedi Padawan Jecki Lon (Dafne Keen) and Master Sol (Lee Jung-jae) in Lucasfilm's THE ACOLYTE, exclusively on Disney+. ©2024 Lucasfilm Ltd. & TM. All Rights Reserved.

THE ACOLYTE is testing my patience and loyalty to a galaxy long, long ago and far away.

The writers have created a storyline filled wiled holes that beg viewers to suspend their disbelief over and over again. The pacing, for the most part, is slow and too talky. Sci-fi demands action and adventures. I don’t understand why the plot is so stuck and filled with guilt and angst. Osha and Mae need to face themselves and get on with it. Test or no test, I am ready for the “final lesson.”

THE ACOLYTE is, for me, a waste of time to watch. There were only maybe five minutes of lukewarm excitement in the entire episode. I wanted to love this series, but it just feels impossible. It is streaming on Disney+.
