SUGAR S1 REVIEW ๐Ÿ˜Š

Sorry SUGAR. I wish you well on your next case. One season was enough for this reviewer.

E1-2 ๐Ÿ˜Š

โ€œSUGAR is not saccharine nor sweet.ย There is a new private investigator, John Sugar (Colin Farrell) who is back in town reuniting โ€œlostโ€ people who need a discretionary process to be found. John is a troubled man with a big heart, a hot car, and PTSD.โ€œ

E3 SHIBUYA CROSSING ๐Ÿ˜Š

โ€œSUGAR has a fascinating, complicated plot line that involves specific โ€œcareerโ€-minded people. I hope that the show picks up and delivers more action like the opening scene. This will help me to keep coming back.โ€

E4 STARRY EYED SUGAR ๐Ÿ˜Š

โ€œSUGAR is a slow burn with no detail revealed before its time. I can wait.โ€

E5 A BOY IN THE CORNER ๐Ÿ˜Š

โ€œSUGAR shared moments of insight into the complicated mystery story. At times I almost felt empathy for the rich and very powerful. John Sugar still has a long road ahead to solve this case and maybe some past history that still haunts him.โ€

E6 GO HOME ๐Ÿ˜Š

โ€œSUGAR closed his circle even more among the people he trusted. The latest episode, GO HOME, was all about betrayal and the painful aftereffects, both physical and mental.โ€œ

E7 THE FRIENDS YOU KEEP ๐Ÿคฉ

โ€œSUGAR was well-written and very intriguing. Part of me wants to stay sad, hiding out in the hotel with the dog, but then I would miss so much. Bring it on, SUGAR. I will be watching too.โ€œ

E8 FAREWELL ๐Ÿ˜Š

โ€œSUGAR is at the end of his journeyโ€ฆor is he? The final episode left much to consider as we all โ€œobserve and report.โ€ I am betting on a second season with all the dangling loose ends.โ€ย
