I liked the last one. It was clever, fresh, and funny. This next installment almost caused me to have an epileptic seizure – and I don’t have epilepsy. Massive flashing colored lights that are all style and no substance with endless chase scenes interrupted by overly long and overly wrought, schmaltzy, bash-you-over-the-head family drama. But my real issue is that there are no stakes in the multiverse. Any multiverse. Anything multiverse writing is lazy and flaccid – like an 80-year-old porn star – even last year’s best picture. Go away.
