Each episode dealt with a different theme. Watching a bunch of original audition âtapesâ of our favorite comedians while listening to their comments was a hoot. I couldnât stop laughing. Another episode was all about the plight of the writers. I can relate. A third went into SNLâs most popular and memorable skit, âThe Cowbell.â I was rolling on the floor. It was hilarious. And the final show was all about the ominous season 11. It was a catalyst for the next 39 years. I learned so much while being thoroughly entertained.Â
SNL50: BEYOND SATURDAY NIGHTÂ was simply joyful and fun. It brought back memories and made me realize how quickly time flies. Donât miss this smart, clever show. It is pure escapism.
