SILO S2E9 THE SAFEGUARD ๐Ÿ˜Š

SILOโ€™s latest episode finally created several exciting moments, but this does not excuse the off-the-original book plot line. It has become such an up-and-down experience that I donโ€™t know what to think anymore. I miss the sci-fi apocalyptic feeling I always had while reading the books and watching Season One. It disturbs me more than I can say.ย

Juliette (Rebecca Ferguson) is fabulous, as always. She is a one-of-a-kind character who offers strength, empathy, and kindness. When the writers are highlighting her story, I am in hog-heaven. It is awesome for women to witness someone written as someone who can handle anything thrown at them. She is an inspiration, surrounded by fast-paced action and dialogue. When the story is flipped to the SILO and Bernard, (Tim Robbins) I lose interest due to the crazy path the characters are taking. It is still a conundrum for me, but thank goodness there is only one more episode to go.ย

SILO disappointed me. My husband gave up on it after episode two. I guess I am a glutton for punishment. I know there are those who adore this season. All I can say is, please read the books. They will surprise and delight you.ย

SILO is streaming on Apple TV+.
