SILO has been causing me grief to watch lately because the plot dealing with Silo 18 is off-track from the original book series that I loved. I usually don’t mind slight differences when screenwriters change it up, but this fabulous sci-fi adventure series does not need to go off into the deep end. This is my opinion. Dear readers, you don’t have to be in agreement. I believe I am a protective purist with SILO.Â
The content surrounding SILO 17 is off as well, but it incorporates more of the basic background surrounding Juliette and Solo. I have hope, but I was disappointed at several emotional high point just thrown out during DESCENT.Â
Tim Robbins as Bernard doesn’t cut it for me this season. His delivery is pretty monotone and lacks the evil he must inhabit to be believable. He does not scare me at all, and he should.Â
All I can say is… where are you going SILO? I was very excited for season 2, but now I just want to cuddle up with my Kindle.
