WTH was that? I just watched a SEVERANCE episode with more walking-in-the-wilderness shots than a LORD OF THE RINGS movie. SEVERANCE works best when slow-burn suspense TV sticks to its workplace setting. Yet, in WOE’S HOLLOW, director Ben Stiller takes the series on a very different path. And that journey was not worth the big-reveal destination. It’s a meandering forty-five minutes with SEVERENCE having a different tone, approach, and scenario. For me, none of it worked.
I’m all in for SEVERANCE’s twists and turns, and I can forgive an excellent series for occasionally stumbling as E4 did. Let’s return this core group of charismatic innies to Lumon Industries in E5. And please provide some answers soon so this series doesn’t become as mind-numbingly frustrating as LOST was towards the end. Thanks.
