It’s not a secret that we only liked the latest in the MCU. Jami, Esta, Aaron, Mike, and Tarush provide our season breakdown:

E1 RESURRECTION

“SECRET INVASION only has five more episodes to go, but I have a feeling I need to hang on tight because “everyone I thought I knew or trusted is not who they say they were.” And the existence of humanity is about to be turned upside down.

– Esta

E2 PROMISES

“Out of the episodes aired so far, episode two has much more “promise” than episode one. Except for GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 3, the MCU has been in a bit of a funk. I hope in the coming weeks, SECRET INVASION can “invade” Marvel fans to become a dark thriller to rejoice over.”

– Aaron

E3 BETRAYED

So lose faith if you must in the MCU. As long as shows like SECRET INVASION continue to hold my attention and entertain me to the degree that I continue to anticipate episodes every Tuesday night at 11:50 pm PST, then I suppose I’ll happily go down with the ship.

– Mike

E4 BELOVED

“SECRET INVASION should be mind-bending, not confusing, as it weaves its spy-thriller-inspired story. The show needs to take a lesson from the always amusing face-swap antics of the slightly more grounded MISSION IMPOSSIBLE franchise and the tonal shifts that allow those movies to have impactful moments with genuine fun.”

– Tarush

E6 HOME

“Let’s get right to the point. SECRET INVASION was an unnecessary series. Disney+ should have taken a cue from the wonderful one-off WEREWOLF BY NIGHT and delivered something befitting to Jackson and Fury without all the filler.”

– Jami

The entire mini-series is available on Disney+.
