SAY NOTHING SERIES REVIEW 🤩

SAY NOTHING will haunt you. It will leave audiences devastated and depressed, but it is still worth every second of your time. The series magnificently recreates a period in history most would rather either forget or end up riled up all over again.Ā

SAY NOTHING uses flashbacks and interviews to become immersed in Belfast, 1972. The content is based on actual stories spanning four years in Northern Ireland. These were known as The Troubles, when your faith would determine whether a person would live, be tortured, ā€œdisappeared,ā€ or put to death. Bombings and high-speed chases were the way children learned how to grow up. It was brutal, and everyone had to choose a side. Kudos to the writers. Their creative skills were phenomenal, making audiences watch with bated breath.Ā

The level of superb acting blew me away. Watching the Price Sisters’ performance was brilliant, subtle, and intentional. They made me believe every tortuous moment was real. I cried for what they endured and all their regrets as they matured. Their quiet beats spoke volumes. I found myself living vicariously through every character, wondering if I could do what they did or just survive. The entire ensemble deserves a standing O.Ā

SAY NOTHING is an amazing docudrama that teaches and expands a person’s heart to absorb all humanity is capable of in the name of religious freedom. It makes one wonder if any of us would be able to withstand the depths of persecution and senseless deaths that occurred, or would we be able to live our lives and SAY NOTHING?Ā

SAY NOTHING is streaming on HULU. It truly is one of the finest and raw series of the year.Ā Ā
