Ironically, the title of this episode had me believe there would be a significant development in RD’s second season. But, instead, it’s a self-contained episode that plays like TED LASSO’S BEARD AFTER HOURS.
The entire episode centers around our favorite police officer on the reservation, Big (Zahn McClarnon), taking LSD by mistake. What follows is a fun, trippy road where Big’s past, present, and future collide.
If STAY GOLD CHEESY BOY didn’t happen the week before, and if this episode’s title didn’t fool me into being something different than what it is, I might have liked it more than this review. As is, it’s a good episode that felt more like a B-side instead of the A-side story we’ve been following in S2.
