RENTAL FAMILY 🤩

RENTAL FAMILY is a sentimental journey, watching Brandon Frazer as Phillip as he tries to find his purpose in his struggling acting career. It is a delightful coming-of-age film that reinforces that it is never too late to find the path you were meant to travel. It is a touching story revealing both the pleasures of joy and the agonizing pain of loneliness simultaneously.

RENTAL FAMILY surprised me.  It opened my eyes to truly see and understand how not everyone gets to live their best life. So many factors can take anyone off course. Expectations can be the downfall of most people. This film reached its emotional peak thanks to the ensemble’s splendid acting. It felt real and filled me with honest lessons to learn. It begged the question…”Why do adults always lie?” If only we all knew the answer to that one, what a wonderful, kind world this would be.

RENTAL FAMILY will tug at audiences’ heartstrings. This is because the movie is nestled in the extraordinary hands of director Hikari (BEEF). She gently guides this slow-burning, filling our souls with endless possibilities if we only make good choices. The intentions are potent yet subtly powerful. It works brilliantly together.

RENTAL FAMILY is a feel-good film. There aren’t many of those in this year’s race to Oscar gold.

It is playing at theaters everywhere.
