REACHER S1 REVIEW 🤩

REACHER is everything you desire in a fast-paced, action/thriller/murder mystery series. It is based on Lee Child’s hero character Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson), but please, just call him REACHER.Ā

REACHER is ā€œnot a vagrant. He’s a hoboā€ who travels from town to town with only the clothes on his back and a toothbrush in his pocket. He is one fine specimen of a man… 6ā€˜5ā€ tall and has enough muscles to make every woman drool. All I have to say is, ā€œWhat a hunk!ā€ The added delight to REACHER is his brilliance at solving crimes and understanding all the nuances, flaws, and traits of those around him. He is a criminal profiler who can keep the action going from one head-butt to the next (Not to mention his left hook).

ā€œA hundred thousand years ago, there were two types of people. Those who stayed around together by the flame, and those who wandered. I am pretty sure I am a direct descendent of those who wandered.ā€ His mother always said, ā€œIt takes bravery to do the right thing.ā€ REACHER will, in the end, ā€œdo what’s right.ā€

REACHER is surrounded by a phenomenal ensemble that will keep you guessing throughout the entire series. The cast looked ordinary. This is important to me since I enjoy watching believable actors who look the part. There was only one exception of Oscar Finley (Malcolm Goodwin), who likes his tweed suits. I loved the sarcastic, one-line zingers that put a smirk on my face while watching some bad guy being brutally killed. The fight scenes were outrageous. There were more over-the-top deaths than I could count. Gratuitous nudity was just right for all genders, and the cursing was kept to a minimum with humorous asides. Quite frankly, it was creatively written while keeping true to Child’s first book. It was a quick ride to Margrave, Georgia, a town I never want to visit again, except to sample some peach pie.

REACHER is available to stream on AMAZON PRIME.Ā Be sure to check him out.
