RAIN DOGS keeps going lower and lower into the dregs of making ends meet. I fear there won’t be a happy ending to this sordid tale of rehab, sex, and “con” catastrophes.
The threesome, Costella, Selby, and Jane, are coping as best they can in a world where there are no correct answers or rewards for going straight. The writers have wrapped their descent into the concept that nothing good will come from this.
RAIN DOGS is not afraid nor embarrassed to “go there.” The acting quality is of the highest level to showcase humanity’s depraved mind and obsessions. It is mesmerizing.
