QUIZ LADY is a fun, high-spirited look at family dynamics. It especially focuses on sisterly squabbling and the warm moments hidden deep beneath the surface. Anne (Awkwafina) and Jenny (Sandra Oh) are definitely not two peas in a pod, and this push/pull need leads audiences to some hilarious, riotous scenes.
QUIZ LADY is tight and fresh. It is not a deep movie that might demand a bunch of brain cells. We are “here to learn and have fun” all while showing off an amazing eclectic display of bow ties.
