PRESUMED INNOCENT showcased a brilliant courtroom scene in this week’s episode. Rusty (Jake Gyllenhaal) has “snapped” on several levels. It is now impossible to see where this murder trial is headed in the upcoming finale.
Watching every character unravel kept this reviewer on the edge of her seat. There was so much passion showcased but for all the wrong reasons. I don’t think Ritalin could even make a difference in keeping everyone calm and focused. The entire ensemble must answer the obvious question: Was it all worth it?
PRESUMED INNOCENT is based on Scott Turrow’s novel. The series has proven to be just as exciting, compelling, and entertaining. David E. Kelley, the writer, and Executive Producer, along with J.J. Abrams, have created outstanding moments for audiences to devour, ponder, and feel tendentious empathy for the Sabich family.
