PLATONIC S2 SEASON REVIEW 😊

PLATONIC is back for another season filled with the narcissistic, argumentative battle cries from Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne. These two have not changed one iota in how they approach their friendship or life traumas and choices. It is not a quiet, soothing show. Every moment is hard-fought with a rising volume level that never turns off. RA It is fresh, razor-edged, fast, and funny.

PLATONIC is the kind of show that grows on you. At first, all the outbursts seem to take on a life of their own, but after a while, the noise appears normal, just like driving back and forth from LA to San Diego. A lot of action and conversation can happen while being trapped in traffic. I was amazed and captivated. Just don’t bring any giant penguins along for the ride.Ā

The story content was entertaining. There were more twists and turns than the first season, but the characters of Will and Sylvia stay true to who they are at their core, and that is what creates ā€œnever a dull momentā€ scenarios. Actual chemistry, but not ā€œthat kindā€ of chemistry. Good to know. And as an added note, I am still waiting for my ā€œdon’t ask, don’t getā€ merch to arrive.Ā Ā

PLATONIC is streaming on Apple TV+.Ā
